Headshots Should Be Of You Today, Not The You From 10 Years Ago

As people continue to work from home, having a professional, updated profile picture showing what you look like today is essential. Potential clients need to see a current image in your business media sites, because when you have a Zoom call or meet in person and you look very different you erode trust at the outset.

I recently met with someone I connected with on LinkedIn whose profile picture depicted him with sandy-colored hair. At the start of our Zoom call I saw a much older gentleman with snow white hair and was wondering if this was the same person. This was a distraction that could have been easily corrected with a current headshot in LinkedIn.
